Global Space University’s Space Certification Programs verifies credentials and establishes your credibility in a rapidly growing, exciting, and diverse field.
What is Global Space University?

The Space Force Association is part of a new effort to help the U.S. achieve superior national space power, by shaping a Space Force that provides credible deterrence in competition, dominant capability in combat, and professional services for all partners.
Under the National Spacepower Center (NSC) and its Space Education Training Center (SETC), Space Force Association has partnered with ISR University to provide online space training and certification programs. By developing innovative space training, we are raising the global standards of excellence for all space professionals.
Global Space University offers ISR University’s existing courses, and will collaborate on future courses. These courses, along with courses offered by U.S. Space Force and other academic institutions, will count toward SFA Space Professional Certification.

Certified Space Professional I
Space Professional I is an entry-level certification for those with 3-5 years of space domain experience. These professionals demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the Space Environment; Orbital Mechanics; Spacecraft Maneuvering, Payloads, and Subsystems; Space Mission Design Process; Remote Sensing; and Position, Navigation, and Timing. Certified Space Professionals must complete 40 hours of Continuing Education Credits every three years to maintain this certification.

Certified Space Professional II
Space Professional II is a next level certification for those with up to 5 years of space domain experience. These professionals demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and application as Space Professional I as well as the Space Mission Design Process; Satellite Communications; Remote Sensing; and Position, Navigation, and Timing systems.

Certified Space Professional III
Space Professional III is a mid-level certification for those with 5-10 years of space domain experience. These professionals demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and application as a Space Professional II as well as National Objectives, Doctrine and Organizational Structure Space Capabilities (Spacelift, Space Domain Awareness, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Position Navigation and Timing, Satellite Communications, Nuclear Detonation Detection, Environmental Monitoring, Missile Warning and Missile Defense); Space Control (Electronic Warfare, Cyberspace Attack, Directed Energy Weapons, Direct Ascent Anti-Satellite Weapons, Co-Orbital Engagement Systems, and Physical, Nuclear and Debris Threats); and military, commercial, and civil space integration. Certified Space Professionals must complete 60 hours of Continuing Education Credits every three years to maintain this certification.

Certified Space Professional Executive
Space Professional Executive is a Master Course for Executive and/or Senior Leaders with significant work experience (15+ years) who require grounding in space grand strategy. These senior leaders demonstrate their understanding and application of the space domain and its supporting architecture; the application of space capabilities and interoperability across military, commercial, and civil space; evaluating threats to and from space; synthesizing space’s impact on strategy, planning, resources, and operations; and analyzing space treaties, policies, and norms.
